신화 에릭의 랩처링으로 시작되는 조금 직설적이고 독특한 곡명의 이번 앨범 타이틀 곡은 ‘미쳤어’ 이다. 이 곡은 전작 BAD BOY의 프로듀서였던 ‘용감한 형제’의 곡으로 전 세계적인 추세인 미니멀한 편곡으로 빈티지한 악기 소스들이 절묘한 조화를 이루며 몽환적이고 섹시한 사운드를 연출해내고 있다. 또한 이번 앨범의 유일한 발라드 곡인 ‘투명인간’은 원태연의 가사로 얼마전 이번 미니 앨범 출시 전에 그녀의 컴백을 알리는 신호탄으로 알려지기도 한 곡이다. 80년대 뉴웨이브 풍의 인트로가 인상적인 ‘PLAY’ 는 이민수의 곡으로 반복되는 베이스 라인과 손담비의 살짝은 톡톡 튀는 듯한 보컬이 큐트함을 더해준다. 영롱하게 시작되는 딜레이 리드 소스가 듣는 이로 하여금 귀를 쫑긋 세우게 만드는 ‘No Sympathy’ 는 전 넥스트의 키보드 주자 였던 ‘Vink’ 의 곡으로, 지극히 팝적인 멜로디 라인이 돋보이며, 아나로그 신디사이저와 빈티지한 리듬 라인이 상반된 느낌의 스트링과 절묘한 조화를 보이며 손담비의 앞으로 보여줄 그녀의 모습이 변화 무쌍할 것임을 한층 더 예견하는 넘버이기도 하다.

Another mini?
| Well, I love Son Dambi & I think she has a beautiful voice, but another mini!?!? (T_T) I wonder when we'll get a full album with 12-15 tracks & a DVD with music videos. Hmm! Well, anyway! Son Dambi shows off her vocal skills this time around & sounds very beautiful. I love the first single, "Invisible Person"! The video for it is sooo cute and she sounds like an angel. I'm glad she's focusing more vocally because too many people criticized her voice at first, but that's probably because it was usually techno-ized. Anyway! This is going to be a good CD so I preorder! (^.^) The cover looks gorgeous too! Love it!! (n_n) |
