The shipping was fine and everything was in order. The only problem we had was with the remote. The batteries wouldn't stay in place, so the remote wasn't working properly. So, we stuck a piece of thin cardboard in the back of the remote to keep the batteries from shifting and then closed the remote back and it works fine. Did you find this review helpful? December 31, 2008 New to me...I'd never heard of Wang Lee Hom until recently and all I can say is that his genre is kinda hard to describe...
He mixes rock, pop, ballad, jazz, and traditional chinese into it's own genre. When I first listened to it, I kinda didn't know what to think of it, but when the album repeated, I was hooked.
So, in a way, you kinda just have to listen in the beginning to grasp what he's doing with the music and then it grows on you. I find myself listening to many of these tracks repeatedly and grooving to some of them. I love his old school feel yet catchy modern tunes. This albums feels like one of ours produced in the US, but it's still C-Pop... and I "love" it! Wang Lee Hom has some amazing talent and I respect him for it.
This album makes me wanna listen to some of his older works and see how he's progressed to this point, but overall, I am very satisfied with this album. It makes me "heart beat" ^^Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

The vocals were excellent from beginning to end. I've always been a fan of NELL's and was anticiapting a concert by them, and I must say that it exceeded all of my expectations. I loved all the songs performed (even the one's I'd never heard before).
This concert just proves why NELL of one of the best korean rock bands. They will forever have my respect and me as a fan.
The Trace follows NELL on their long journey from the oldests hits to their recent ones. The performance is simply amazing and it's hard to find words that describe it.
The only thing that was sad was the fact that they sang '12 Seconds' as the last song. It made me emotional and adding on to the fact that the drummer of the band will be serving his military time simply hit home for me that I won't be able to hear NELL for a while...but even so, I'm grateful to this band for every song they've made for us listeners and I will be satisfied with the music I do have by them and will still be a fan when they're absent for a few years.
I do believe it is worth it's price (but I simply don't have the money for it. If i did, I would definitely buy this and I will when I get the money). Dido is one of the artists that you truly have to appreciate. Her lyrics are dynamic and her clear voice portrays her thoughts very clearly. Her singing is smooth and soothing to the ears and you cant help but sing along (her voice is easy to follow).
As an artist that only comes out with an album every few years, it's easy to forget her during her inactive years, but when you hear that her new album's finally come, you can't help but anticipate her new music. Its like each new albums tells the story of how she's been feeling and living during her years out of the spotlight. She never fails to amaze me.
Just like her previous albums, this one is no pushover. Don't Believe In Love is excellent and I recommend it to any music lover.

This concert is amazing and one of Tohoshinki's best concerts while in Japan. Whether you're a fan or not, I think this is a performance everyone will enjoy. ^^

November 14, 2008 An intriguing surprise.This album is amazing. If you live K-Indie Rock like NELL, Loveholic, Casker or OSTs like Coffee Prince, then this group is for you. The hit single on this album is LIPS and I really suggest watching the MV for it. Dear Cloud is another one of those great bands that has excellent vocals and sings about topics that matter. We are living in a time where artists debut at such a fast rate just for money purposes. The single LIPS criticizes the music industry for producing so many lip syncing artists.
This band is like NELL, but with a female vocalist who can rival JiSun from Loveholic (who is an absolutely amazing vocalist who I respect dearly). I am VERY impressed with this band. From beginning to end, the vocals are intriguingly beautiful, yet haunting at the time. The very first song draws you in all the way to the very end.

I must say that it feels so good to hear his soulful, yet soft voice again. ^_^ I love the hit single (Track 2), but my favorite song is 'Na Rak' (Track 7). It's like a lullaby and it really shows off his vocal control (singing at such a soft tone is hard to do ^^() )

I gotta say that the photography of the boys is gorgeous. I love how the photographer caught their natural looks. The setting is like western, country, yet at the same time, extremely stylish. The pictures are huge and the numbers run along the bottom of the pages so you have the entire picture to stare at like a poster. ^^
It's made similar to the Paris Calendar (the numbers on that one ran down the pages at the side). The only disadvantage is that the calendar is not a spiral one like the Paris one. So you have to tear out the pages as you go. However, it's nice that after the month is gone you have nice posters.

After everything I've listened to, this album is my absolute favorite. JJ Lin has a very lovely voice and imagine my surprise when I realized he played Rei Xi's brother in Hana Kimi! lol Imagines that! ^^()
This is an album that I really would like to buy for myself or even for my mother. It has the perfect combination of mainstream pop and lovely ballads. The entire album is gorgeous from beginning to end and I love how they ended the album with "Love and Hope" just listening to the melody makes me emotional and the children's choir just reminds me of the Sichuan disaster. A person with a voice like that must have a beautiful spirit, and I believe she definitely has one. I've been listening to Kpop for years, and I consider her to be one of THE BEST talents out there, despite her popularity not being as high as pop divas and boybands.
Because Gummy is different, she stands out in the most amazing ways. She has a gift and she knows how to use it in the most cunning ways. Her vocal control is just astounding.
When it comes to this album, I believe this is the best yet. The hit single "Mianhaeyo" is a great song and I'm happy that it was the PV song pick, but that is merely a taste of this albums soul.
Gummy breathes life into her albums, and its hard to find albums that are alive in this pop obsessed music industry where producers are more worried about selling albums quickly than making them of the best musical quality...just thought I'd say that.Did you find this review helpful? Regardless of the fact there are only 4 songs, anything is better than nothing when it comes to Seo Tai Ji who doesn't stay in public thatoften. T'ik T'ak is officially one of my favorite rock videos and with his recent Symphony 2008 concert, Seo Tai Ji has become one of my top korean rock artists. I love his old works (like Hefty End, Take One, Take Two, etc...), and this album has his same classic sound but is so modern and techo-refined. I love it!

This cd+dvd version has very nice as well, but I like the cover of the cd only version better. Also, this version came with the PV so i get to watch it on the big screen ^^
The only downside is that I got the Junsu photocard in both versions. I hoped to get two different ones... ^^()
PS I still find it amazing that Tohoshinki still made no. 1 on the oricon chart without any promotional activity once again (it happened with Doushite too.) ^^ Congrats TVXQ! glad to be a fan and supporter!Did you find this review helpful? Yes
