Sanyo Xacti VPC-CA65 presents the world's first waterproof digital camera. Both a video and a still camera, the Xacti VPC-CA65 records MPEG-4 DVD-quality video and takes 6-megapixel pictures both on land and underwater. It can go to a depth of 1.5m for up to 60 minutes, and does not require separate underwater casing. The camera is conveniently designed for active outdoor usage, with a vertical grip body for one hand, one thumb operation. The Xacti VPC-CA65 also has a Digital Image Stabilizer to correct for hand shaking. Other nifty features include a portrait mode that allows you to take portrait orientation pictures without having to flip the camera and a super macro function for up to 1cm zoom in.
