The lead roles were played by 2 best actress awardees of our times: Ms. Li Li Hua and Ms. Li Ching and they made a perfect tandem for this feature. The only shortcoming of this movie was its unfinished ending leaving the audience hanging whether the protagonists were able to overthrow the corrupt government officials later on after the former escaped to the mountains. More excitement would have followed if there was a Part II for this movie.

If I remember right and am not mistaken, there is a similar title of this movie made by Shaw Bros many years ago but I don't know if they have the same plot or not; however, the latter (Shaw Bros) had not been digitally remastered and released by Celestial Pictures yet. I have not seen this movie yet due to the Region Code restriction so cannot come up with my personal review but I would probably rate it a 10 because of the skilled actors and actresses that appeared in this movie.
