January 8, 2009 Danger by Dinner Plates Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
“Are you seeing another woman?” Gu Xiaofan muses alone. “Of course not, delicious” Jiaqiao might safely say in between mouthfuls of contrasting food stuffs that his new girl friend Coco as cooked him. And which are doing Jiaqiao more harm than dodgy combined Vitamin C recommendations!

There's one thing to say about this film, implacable Gu Xiaofan certainly doesn’t settle for simply smashing dinner plates over Jiaqiao’s head or wield dangerous kitchen knives as he’s seated at one of her Chinese cuisine specials. No, “Deadly Delicious” as the title suggests goes with subtle manoeuvrings in the 'scorned woman finding man with younger girl' stakes where food becomes a deadly weapon. And scorned Gu Xiaofan doesn’t go for a boring old poisonous blow fish approach either. No, GX goes all scary strategic with her chopping board and sinister menus (well, via innocent Coco anyway), deciding on a subtle thunder and lightening pukka food approach. The only thing that worried me though was if Jacqiao was a gourmet connoisseur (moaning at poor Coco’s noodle offerings), how did Gu Xiaofan’s dangerous food combos dupe him?

Still, I'd imagine that Jacqiao wasn’t fussy about food combos if the quality was good and had probably eaten chocolate with fried noodles as a kid anyway. So food contrasts weren’t a problem. Apart from Jacqiao’s hearty meals giving him stomach turning reactions, chest pains, additional hair and eyebrow loss and a pronto hospital visit after Coco's influenced cuisine.

“Deadly Delicious” is food horror blended with a Fatal Attraction theme and having a very good vengeful character part (Yu Nan is scary). Its a different drama for a change, too. Although hard to convince by foodstuffs used as deadly weapons it doesn't stop from being a chilling viewing experience when you realize Gu Xiaofan’s motifs. The ending takes a more incredulous turn in the plot stakes though, when Jiaqiao gets imprisoned in his apartment along with a contrived ‘off the shelf’ add on ingredient revelation about Gu Xiaofan. Still, certainly another film to see if you recently liked some of those women retribution films from S Korea such as “Angel”, “A Good Wife” etc.

Yu Nan is excellent as the scorned wifelet with subtle cruelty and soft approach. Francis Ng is part serious / part black comedy in this role I thought and Jiang Yiyan as Coco runs about worrying at all the impending drama. Worth seeing.

January 5, 2009 A gentle film about growing pains Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Although “Ride Away” may sound logically depressing by the synopsis description its actually quite a gentle, charming and sometimes funny movie. Its theme is of tragedy and difficult upbringings certainly. But amidst the gloomy pathos the overall nature of the script is of a far lighter mood and considers hope, love and possibilities over relenting to adversity. Centered mainly on Ha Jung, a young girl who having lost her mother to alcoholism and her elder brother running away from home due to the nature of Ha Jung’s lackluster father, manages to find solace and companionship in a young book seller named Woo Sook, who as also split up with his own parents and additionally cares for his coma state girl friend following a car accident.

Although possessing tragic themes the gentle and charming nature of this film relates more to modern romance and teenage hearts, having an equally easygoing and sympathetic script, funny dialogue, sentimental yearnings along with the focused awareness of difficulties/tragedies of family life. The central characters are in difficult situations and never lose sight of their true reality, but still hold on to hope and the possibility for positive change. (Woo Sook’s horse race bets for instance). “Ride Away” is certainly an uplifting and heartfelt experience than a moody kitchen sink drama but still maintains the important balance of family values, personal goals and dream fulfillment. The script never shifts too far out of gear from the hard reality of Ha Jung’s and Soo Wook’s family upheavals, guilt and home difficulties either. Both characters share obligatory and burdensome circumstances and through mutual understanding in each other, love begins to blossom.

A good story, good characters and lovely acting make this a very charming film. The final irony of Ha Jung shows that there can be a light at the end of any tunnel by perseverance and that such a light may come in a way never quite expected or even fully understood (although somewhat befitting here). This is an excellent feel good Korean coming of age film that anyone should be able to identify with. Its rewarding and pleasant (yes, and sad) but should certainly give you something beneficial by the outcome. Highly recommended.

December 15, 2008 Getting Nowhere Fast! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
“Nowhere to Turn” is a bit of self-introspection. About Soo Yeon, a young girl who dreams of training to become a succesful musician keyboard player in England faces such dreams amidst hard realities of modern Korean life demands. Soo Yeon’s mother refusing to pay for her musical training being one such demand. The only trouble with Soo Yeon’s plan though is that she isn’t too hot at her keyboard playing and knows only a few songs and lacks vital drive, making her dream a little difficult. Still, the main interplay of the film is more crucially about Soo Yeon’s fulfillment in seeking true happiness as she grows up in a demanding and confusing world. Along with some boyfriend trouble and playboy antics.

This film is quite somnambulist. Its pace is never rushed and doesn’t traverse far from the central interrelated youth problems. It’s funny though. Especially when Soo Yeon asks her boyfriend Dong Ho to buy her an electronic synthesizer and not only convinces him to get her one, but coerces Dong Ho to buy a KORG synthesizer, too. Wow! Soo Yeon certainly doesn't go by halves! But although Soo Yeon as quality hardware, she doesn't go for solid tutoring or adopt a hard inner thrust to succeed. Due to this she has a long hard slog in becoming a Jean Michael Jarre keyboard wizard! Soo Yeon pursues her music dream through a fog of lazy Sunday morning feelings amidst mundane daily routines combined with boyfriend troubles, that all cause Soo Yeon’s aspirations to go around in circles. In a nut shell, Soo Yeon gets nowhere fast in her ambition.

This is a good film though with a good character actress lead. Actress Soo Yeon Cha is certainly talented ("Beautiful" proved that) and plays a part of herself here apparently. She reminds me quite a bit of Ji Hyun Jeon (that Sassy Girl) as well. Its a really decent and a lightly humorous youth drama. The pacing is slow, as the main characters don’t really get anywhere much. But this is kitchen sink ‘real world’ stuff verses rose tinted spectacle objective dreams. The need to get a steady job and paying income alongside personal ambitions. Soo Yeon attempts to succeed, by asking her musician boyfriend to get her in his band (although Dong Ho as difficulty staying in it himself), falling in with a singer playboy and womanizer - all to attain her dream. The film ends on a sad note, but ironic. Poor Soo Yeon – just the right batteries and she would have Everywhere to Go, no doubt. Recommended!

December 15, 2008 Excellent! Fantastic! Brilliant! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is a great album! I absolutely love W&Whale's song “R.P.G. (Rocket Punch Generation) and straightaway when I first heard it from the K-movie “Hell Cats” earlier this year. It’s beat rhythm so stays in your head and is one of the best Korean pop songs to date. In fact “R.P.G.” should be a No 1 Korean classic! At the time I saw “Hell Cats” this album wasn’t available and I only had “R.P.G” from the “Hell Cats” OST. But I recently spotted “Hardboiled” in the Korean Yesasia chart and immediately bought it. For one, the album also featured a second version of the “R.P.G” track alongside the main one featured in the HC film. Thankfully, “R.P.G.” isn’t the only one hit wonder from this very varied funky electronic lounge album as “Hardboiled” is just an absolute gem.

As far as I can see this is W&Whale’s debut album and a very electric one, too. Sound wise the band are quite reminiscent of fellow stable mates Loveholic in style and this CD features very light and easy listening songs full of pleasant and catchy melodies to sink into. Themes are up tempo and melancholic blends. The song styles range from lounge/rhythmic funk style, funky disco-electronic, touching guitar and piano ballads (“Whale Song” is just brilliant and there’s even a K-drama sad ballad, too, with track 13). Additionally the album features two funky 80s synth and light electronic pop songs (track 8 and 9) when mid way the album gets a bit more synth pop than lounge/funk. But no matter what the style – this album just shines class!

Highlighted ditties for me are “R.P.G.” (both versions), “Whale Song”, “Stardust”, “Morning Star”, track 8, “Too Young To Die”, “Dear My Friend”, but this whole album is such a high polished production that all songs are gems. Songs are also interpolated with some interesting sounds /dialogues/ music etc with the “McGuffin” pieces.

A very highly recommended CD. Absolutely brilliant! A great band and a quality album to treasure in your collection. Certainly a must for all Loveholic fans. And I’m sure that I’m understating this album, too!

December 12, 2008 A Decent HK Ghosty Film Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Only recently did I get around to watching the Taiwanese film “Shutter”, one of the spookiest Asian movies about the phenomena of disembodied people spirits. But even “Shutter” has amusing moments concerning the ghost elements (like when the female ghost’s head pops up near the passenger seat window in the ghost/car chase). “Yes, I Can See Dead People” as similar funny moments. Stephen Cheung having such a great funny demeanor about him, could make this difficult to anticipate a brooding dark movie here. If you’ve seen Steve before, you could logically anticipate a deadpan comedy and a bit of a daft horror film like the Boyz/Twins combo “The Death Curse”. Right? But place this film about mid way between TDC and “Scared to Die” and that will be about right. Its quite spooky but has far too much droll humor (eye on a shoe?) to be a chilling terror ride. I mean, even Mandy couldn’t help finding Stephen funny on set by merely looking at him - and she had to act terrified and keep a straight face to make the film. But although this does have its mirthful asides - “Yes, I can See Dead People” in truth as a decent spooky and ominous plot, is well acted and is quite an atmospheric ghost movie.

The synopsis. Nam (Steve that is) can see and communicate with the dead and sees ghosts like most other people see each other at shopping malls. He even communicates with ghosts on his PSP Internet connection to obtain info relating to an ominous spirit that seems to have an unhealthy interest in his brother and a female stewardess resident. This ominous ghost was also a past tenant and in spirit as a social score to settle (his facial expression as Grudge written all over it!), and certainly not someone to be hauntingly pressured by in a misty, dank and claustrophobic housing estate where Steve and Mandy are here. In fact being haunted by this fellow in a summer field at sunset would be no lesser option.

But this is a HK horror worth seeing. You certainly get the proverbial ‘jump out of your skin’ horror sound factor throughout. (Groan, I wish they wouldn’t do that, though). Quiet scenes often crescendo into loud ‘throw your popcorn into the air’ surprises often. Especially when the surround sound is a bit too loud due to the quieter bits. Luckily, I wasn’t drinking anything or by the umpteenth ‘jump’ I would have been drowned in beverage by the end of the movie. So, you have been warned.

December 9, 2008 Super Dance! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Like most of Electronic Queen Yumiko’s CDs this new Mandarin “Wonderful Time” album features the usual YC trademark dance/ electronica alongside several ballad songs. “Wonderful Time” though does relate heavily to Y’s previous canto album “Super Model” including three Mandarin vocal remix versions of “Super Model” (trk 9), “Full Moon” (trk 5) and “Dancing on the Cloud” (trk 10). The “Super Model” mixed tracks though have Mandarin alternative titles, but apart from Yumiko’s Mandarin vocals are only slightly different versions to the originals. “Super Model’s” dance fueled electronica is certainly evident again here on “Wonderful Time’s” new songs, having rhythmic up beat electronic pop blended with Yumiko’s usual whimsical style. A couple of ballads, too, so it’s not all dance stuff! The synth pop dance floor tracks though are 1, 2, 4 and 8 in predominance with track 8 “Not My Cup of Tea” being the biggest contender. In fact this version is the best synth pop number here! Seriously E-lec-tron-ic! Lots of other catchy (sometimes kooky) rhythms featured. The second song “Five Centuries” as a wonderful stay in your head refrain with a ballad styled lead that soon shifts into dance mode and probably my favorite track from the album. Favorites also are “Not My Cup of Tea” (track 8) and the super Duran Duran styled 80s electronic “Song For Morning Exercise” (track 1). I also liked the Chinese vocal touch to “Wonderful Time” (track 4).

The DVD music videos feature three surreal dance routines with a Chinese flavor. No Yumiko "Behind the Scenes” this time or a video relating to the semi gothic 80s New Romantic look of Yumiko’s candelabra head dress, alas. The packaging is also similar to “Super Model” (I think this album must be “SM’s” sister album!) with fold out card packaging and this time including four nice mini folded poster inserts.

If you love electronic disco dance this Yumiko album is worth your time. Slightly less a full package deal, I suppose, due to only having 7 new songs - the other 3 being already established (of course a Chinese audience may not have heard the SM versions though). But the new songs are good, rhythmic, heart moving and give plenty of danceable moments for the listener. You may have heard it all before, but Yumiko certainly wins over in her electronic dance, and track 8 certainly rocks! “Super Model” (canto) and “Shanghai Doll” (mando) are also two other Y albums to recommend with this one.

    December 8, 2008 K-horror + 15 Music videos! Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
“Death Bell” isn’t any “Whispering Corridors” school ghost horror social commentary type. Ghosts raising the dust about Korean education system of teacher brutality and pointless bullying! No, “Death Bell” is a semi gory unadulterated pop culture horror show with torture voyeurism via a television set and super test high school students as the unfortunate victims.

Certainly influenced by “Whispering Corridors” and (maybe) the Korean 2003 computer game homage “White Day”, “Death Bell” is grisly but hard to accept. The opener is effective showing a nightmare scene of rows of burning school desks; quirky violent camera shots as Ina (played well by Gyu Ri Nam of See Ya) confronts a pale looking grudge horror girl and a barrage of deathly school kids. Ina wakes from this - a twisted portend nightmare of horrors soon to happen with some of her class chums.

“Death Bell” as an unconvincing and iffy script. Its swiftly executed and is ‘edge of your seat’ stuff, but story connectivity suffers and meanders away from logic for quick shock tactics. Especially when the terrorized students could all have escaped the crazy question setter near the beginning. A previously captured male student falls dead by an open glass door leading to the outside world and enabling the students to escape. No other student was held by the Question Setter at this point either for the other students to feel culpable. There should have been a mass scurry for escape from this menace. But all decide to re-enter the school, premeditate the next unfortunate student victim's fate, and try to solve the Question Setter’s cryptic 'death note' puzzles that even Lara Croft would have probs with. Incredulous magical moments like this make the final revelation a bit difficult to accept the rational of the entrapped school students and teachers here.

Still, lead actors Gyu-ri Nam of See Ya and Bum Soo Lee perform excellently. Gyu Ri really puts heart and soul into being scared witless and Soo Lee is....brilliant in anything! The cinematography is high quality creepy and intricate bits of the plot were interesting. Supplement DVD is good though. As well as making of, interviews there's 15 MVs of the director’s resume, including songs by See Ya, Fly to the Sky, Loveholic, Classique (featuring a young Jun Ki Lee), Howl etc., which certainly makes of interest to music lovers as much as the movie itself. In fact quite a movie/pop combo set. Sadly the movie could have been better!

    November 21, 2008 Ace of a Chase Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Although “The Chaser” isn’t as fast paced as it may sound (although certainly intense and disturbing), it features a distinctive blend of suspense, laconic humor and a serial killer moved by religious motifs to make one interesting and edgy film to recommend. It won’t fail to keep your attention firmly in its grasp. “The Chaser” also wins over by being more uniquely scripted, too – having tension laced with satire and humorous irony.

It’s a very different cop tracking killer thriller, too! For one you know from the outset who the killer is and secondly cop Jung Ho, who ‘chases’ the killer, is actually an ex-cop turned pimp who tries to locate one of his missing girls Mi Jin - who he believes to have been swiped by a rival escort racket. Although the rival ‘pimp’ is actually this film’s sadistic killer Young Min, who murders prostitutes and anyone else who happens to cross his path. “The Chaser” turns the ‘track the killer before striking’ type on its head – with the killer confronting Jung Ho early on in the film, getting arrested and then admitting to the police he is the serial killer they are looking for. The police are convinced, but the main problem is that the killer ‘forgets’ where he leaves his victims. What follows is Jung Ho earnestly tying to find Mi Jin alongside the police, who the killer attempted to murder and lies half dead in a basement, and the bumbling police’s ‘red tape’ approach before the killer’s un-authorized arrest and 12 hours interrogation are up. The cross fire between ‘pimp cop’ Jung Ho and the actual police is amazing scripting, too!

No doubt many who have enjoyed Chan Wook Park’s “Oldboy” will appreciate this film’s originality and intelligent twists to the usual generic script method of cops on the killer chase. I mean a call girl pimp cop - whatever next! The cast is brilliant! Yoon Suk Kin as Jung Ho has added another great role to the K-canon and will certainly be remembered for this film. Jung Woo Ha (Time, Breath, Fox Family) as the cool and disturbing killer is goose-bumpingly sinister. Young Hee So is one under used actress (she was ace in “Moodori”) and its great to see her talent here in the “The Chaser” albeit only briefly.

Don’t think high octane pulse racing action like K-movies “Seven Days” and “Princess Aurora”, but do anticipate a disturbingly sinister movie with satirical overtones and superb character acting that puts it along with all the other top Korean films of this age.

November 19, 2008 A Bit of Intellectual Fun Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
After one viewing “Milky Way Liberation Front” will seem like an intellectual type of film that would more appeal to Korean indie movie buffs, especially to people who attend regular festivals, than a mainstream audience. But saying that “MWLF” is certainly a movie with a clever script, sharp dialogue and acting with some dry humor and anecdotal satirizing about Korean film festivals and indie film making – making for a recommended and different Korean film to see.

Concerning a young upstart film director Young Jae who is dumped his girl friend at the time he’s about to make his first full length art movie about an aphasiac (needed my dictionary here!) man and also a short film for a PIFF event, ends up suffering writers block and, eh, a sort of voice loss. But being somewhat Monty Python those situations are mostly viewed as metaphorical relating to this film’s kooky satire and Young Jae’s eccentric and quirky nature relating to his life, girl friend, mother and film making. Young Jae’s film associates also have many multi-faceted ideas about how Young Jae’s ‘aphasiac man’ should turn out. Young Jae also continually gets grief and emotional problems with his ex-girl friend, due to his ex having similar grief with Young Jae’s erratic communication skills and artistic disposition. In fact communication is quite an important key element to this film. “MWLF” mainly though pokes a lot of fun at cinematic Korean idioms and politics regarding Korean indie films and festivals.

If you love intellectually challenging movies with clever wit and dialogue and can see the merit in the funny side of our kooky lives and idiosyncrasies through the eyes of a young film director as a means of redemption – you should definitely check this out. “MWLF” is funny deadpan about pursuits of stumbling inducing egotisms, and shows this as quirky parodies through the eyes of Young Jea and his endeavor to impress girls by making Korean films for art festivals. The only trouble is that the ‘restricted club’ substance could alienate a bit by the obvious self-indulgence. But that shouldn’t stop any real appreciation with the universality of this movie. So, by the cover this could seem like a cute romance movie about a filmmaker and his gf – but do expect something quite a bit different here. Overall a good film that could grow on you by continual viewings.

November 10, 2008 Essential 90s Jung Hwa Uhm! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Another music CD that’s been hot on my CD player of late (along with Brown Eyed Girls “My Style” mini album and the great “Over the Rainbow” Korean Drama TV OST) is this (equally great!) compilation of Jung Hwa's dance music that showcases selections from her first 5 albums from the late 90s. And what an absolute gem of a CD this is! If you have purchased the recent “Wonder Girls” CDs and are looking for something similar in sound (or love techno dance sounds) - this, albeit nostalgic last century dance jive, will be your heavenly little garden of dance driven delights! I highly recommend this CD to all lovers of K-pop that may have missed JHU's music initially!

“All Details” features a heady mix of infectious synthetik pop, disco rhythms plus a couple of heartfelt ballads and overall is a fantastic never ceasing in quality compilation album - and a perfect intro to JHU's sound! From the Christmasy feel of track 1, to super charged synth pop/disco dance club songs of 2 and 3, a gorgeous and melancholic ballad 4 - just for starters! Perpetual sounds of disco, funk, dance, electronica, ballad, light rap, sax (trk 9), make for an highly charged dance album by the rest of this complications set. Jung Hwa's emotively mixed vocals of innocent fragility alongside upbeat tempo dance power are a heady mix too!

The booklet includes a discography with little thumbnails of the 5 original albums the songs are taken from - so if ever you wish to hunt for the original albums, this CD gives a good pictorial reference. Sadly though only Jung Hwa’s No. 3 album seems to be currently available.

I'm also recommending this CD to anyone who as not heard UHM's music before. So if you may have seen plenty of Jung Hwa’s movies such as “Seducing Mr Perfect”, “Singles” or “Princess Aurora”, but have never realized (or tried) her super musical sounds, talent and style - this is certainly the album to try without a shadow of a doubt. Its a CD you just won’t stop playing after hearing it, with every Nostalgic 90s sound here a perfect slab of fantastic!

File under : Brilliant Disco/ Dance Club Electronicia Dance Machine Compilation - and one K-pop album you just cannot afford to be without! An essential buy.

    November 5, 2008 Romance, Comedy, Drama…Baseball! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Chang-jung Lim is at his trademark humorous and astute best here! As Ho Chang CJ plays an ex base ball pitcher who as a scout assistant sent from his Seoul university to Gwangju, tries to hunt down the illusive pitching ‘ghost’ legend Sun Dong-yeol and sign him up with the Seoul universities team. But arriving at Gwangju, Ho Chang re-discovers his past love Sae Young, a girl he dated from his ‘romantic high school years’ who he dearly loved. But due to Ho Chang falling foul to a violent student fight incident in their past, had left him deeply rejected and severally estranged with Sae Young – who disappointingly couldn’t bring herself to forgive Ho Chang for his brutal actions. Certainly as Sae Young was politically involved in the student activism at the time.

“Scout” although thrust into Gwang Ju's troubling May 18th student riots, is mainly a mix of romantic drama, subtle comedy and a man's crucial understanding about himself; love, maturity, reconciliation and sacrifice.

The film plays out in various flashbacks with the high school Gwangju university years (Ho Chang’s lovesick memories) and the present time of 1980, as Ho Chung desperately looks for the ghost pitcher (with kooky and madcap situations). Most of “Scout” is the usual kooky off the wall antics you would expect with a Chang Jung Lim film. But Chang Jung’s comedy characters always blend excellently and vividly into more serious forms (like his “Bet on My Disco” and “Miracle on First Street” characters) and this is another albeit light and frivolous movie that combines well upon the sensitive issues about the student riots at Gwang Ju. It’s all nostalgic romance really with baseball pitcher Sun Dong-yeol being a vehicle and pretext scenario to lead towards a rekindled lost love between Ho Chang and Sae Young – and reconciliation and forgiveness as the main goal. Ho Chang also gets some stiff competition in re-uniting with his girl friend c/o a love struck gangster who also fancies Sae Young. Love and Reconciliation is never easy (especially with battle tactics involved!) Lovely Ji Won Eon also makes another welcoming performance here as Sae Young.

DVD extras here also watch able such as Ji Won Eom’s song making session and the open gala night (featuring Ji Won Ha in a cool pair of shades). Music to this film is pretty good too, with a superb OST. Worth seeing.

October 27, 2008 Fantastic Dance Grooves + cool ballads Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Emme Wong’s “The Groove in Me” is one seriously infectious dance electronica album (well by this CD's first part, anyway), having great rhythms, riffs, melodic's and cool grooves packed to the rafters. But although predominant in the electronica dance music style (track 4 is amazing with a metallic, fast, electronic industrial dance groove), this CD’s latter half also features additional good ballads care of tracks 7, 8 and 9 to enjoy equally. Especially track 9 "My Heart is Somewhere Else" with its heartfelt refrain and Emme's own lyric ballad for the song "Myself" (track 8). Emme is more of a musical collaborator here though, and certainly ‘shares’ a number of the songs with LoJ and RAY. But Emme's high (and at times ethereal) voice adorns a wealth of musical song types here. A fantastic album to try out. Every track moves into another musical form until the album ends all quite differently to how it all begins. So dont' read 'rap' and 'dance' and think this is all the CD offers. No, it’s a full on eclectic mix - swift and rhythmic house beats, great Canto song rhythms, infectious dance rhythms, occasional hip hop rap and having some really pulsating electronic synth sounds, but also additional gentle ballads here to calm things down a bit at the end. All the songs here are pretty good!

I would certainly place track 4 (plus extended mix) as a firm favorite of mine for the more vibrant electronic songs and track 9 as the most touching ballad. Loved track 3, too, (plus the extended mix version ) and 7, 9 and 1. But, really, I like this album as a whole. Overall, a very energetic and well-produced rhythmic CD with additional ballads and an album I would certainly recommend checking out. Recommended certainly if you like Yumiko’s or Uhm Jung Hwa CDs and other rhythmic dance albums. Go on, hit that beat with this cool CD!
