Great!
| I've got to admit, i'm a fan of Brown Eyed Girls but i do NOT buy singles or mini albums for that matter because i kinda find it a waste of money when there only a few tracks! But, surprisingly enough i decided to buy this one. Its definitely not because i like the style of music on this mini album, im more of a ballad person and was actually waiting for them to release a full length album instead of a mini album with like only 4 new songs. What made me buy this was i REALLY enjoyed the tracks on this mini album. I listened to the whole mini album first before i really decided on buying it and i'm glad i bought it!!! I like all the tracks on this album but my favourite would have to be "You". If you like electronica kinda music or music like So Hot, then you'll enjoy this album. Give it a shot, you won't regret it. |

“My Style” is a high quality modern K-pop album certainly to recommend. Style wise, this mini CD features BEG more within the modern high-energy electronica dance sound circuit - additionally energized by the girl’s harmonics, R&B, hip hop and rap vocalizing they are so popular for. BEG also show a more punky/new wave air, (especially with Miryo's style), and inject lots of vocal posture and ultra catchy rhythms that certainly should get you into dance mode immediately. If you love Korean girl pop electronicia style and haven’t heard the Brown Eyed Girls yet, I certainly recommend you getting this CD to try them out! The songs blend high-energy electronica and an 80s flavor synth pop beat. The CD kicks off with electronica dance mix fest “You” as the modern techno style. Track 2 “How” though is the more infectious 80s synth pop ditty (maybe the ‘single’ of the set?) and having a hint of Wonder Girls refrain. The third track remains in the electronica style, but more mid tempo followed by a slower ballad song for track 4. The mini concludes with two instrumental versions from the set. After the final song though don’t quickly turn off your CD player as a hidden extra bonus song lurks at the latter end of the continuous and more longer time count of trk 6, and this song is another very good track to the set. I’ll have to say, after listening to this album once, I’ve kept this one on regular play and even listened to the CD 6-7 times in one go last night (plus I’ve bought some other BEG CDs today). So, I guess I rather like the Brown Eyed Girls now. Tracks in English are: 1 You 2. How 3. Barely 4. I Won’t Love Again 5. How (inst.) and 6. I Won’t Love Again (inst) + the bonus song on track 6 (watch the countdown on your CD player here for track 6..its not indexed though). Sorry, I don’t know the name of this bonus song…any BEG fan can help here? Verdict: An impressive CD from Korean girl band BEG that although are one of the many K-girl bands out there, seem to have hit the right groove with this fabulous CD mini. Should become increasingly popular! Especially “How” which is certainly FAB! Five appreciated stars here! |

Very Good and Awesome
| Even though this is a mini album, the content is quality and superb. All the tracts on the album are very catchy and does not disappoint. I especially liked the second tract. The only con of this album is the similar style of the Wonder Girls. BEG are very talented and does the job. I highly recommend this album to anyone looking for a blast of life. |
